The brief (in brief)
eric was tasked with developing the branding, digital platform and content marketing strategy for a new premium golf travel brand.
What we did
1. Start with a name. Tasked with creating the brand from scratch, after extensive market research and testing, GolfTraveller was chosen. A look and feel was developed and tested on all formats.
2. A new home. Securing golftraveller.com as a domain was key to the launch phase and a new website was developed, with eric responsible for all build and design requirements.
3. Content strategy and implementation. From golfers and golf architects to chefs, sommeliers and even historians, we told a rich editorial story covering not only the golf but all of the aspects around it (food, travel and culture) to appeal to GolfTraveller’s premium target audience. All of the content was omni-channel, created for use on social, digital and print platforms.
The results
A sold-out hospitality area at the Ryder Cup 2016 in Hazeltine, Minneapolis, was the first target met by eric and GolfTraveller.
